RCCB’S
The Quintessential Life Saving Equipment For Your Home.
A Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) is a very important safety device for keeping electrical lines safe. It is a device that measures current and can quickly cut the circuit off if there is a problem with the connected circuit or if the current goes over the rated sensitivity. Kirchhoff's law says that the current coming into and going out of a circuit must be equal. This is how RCI Electricals RCCB works.
RCI Electricals RCCB then looks at the difference in the amounts of current flowing through the live and neutral lines. The current coming into the circuit from the live wire should be the same as the current going through the neutral wire. When there is a problem, the current from the neutral wire slows down. The difference between the two is called Residual Current. As soon as the RCCB detects a Residual Current, it cuts the connection.
- Allows for two different terminations for wire and busbar connections.
- Protects against voltage changes because it has a screening device that stops voltage levels from changing quickly.
- Clearly visible ON-OFF positions
- Protects against a ground fault and any current that leaks out.
- When the rated sensitivity is passed, the circuit is cut off automatically.
- Test button for periodic check up
